In Fiji, the word Vosa translates to “language.” But to the Fijian people, it is never just about the dialect spoken or the words written.

Vosa is how you show up. It is the alignment of mind, body, spirit, and voice. It’s an expression of your essence and your commitment to the people around you. At its heart, it carries the “we go together” mentality—a deep-rooted belief that we are at our best when we are bringing everyone else along with us.

The Problem with “Professionalism.”
For too long, B2B tech has been a sea of sameness. We’ve been taught to hide the human behind the title, to speak in buzzwords, and to build brands that are polished but hollow. We’ve traded connection for “conversions.”

Starting his technology career in the mid 90’s, Erik Boles founded a web dev shop. After selling that to a large competitor in Seattle he started a business technology consultancy that did networking for office systems, a mix of Value Added reseller, Systems Integrator, and Managed services. A hosting and back-end dev shop followed that when web 2.0 hit the scene and php was all the rage. 

Back to back to back exits taught Erik one thing—it was never about the tech, every competitor could do that, it was about how you showed up, how much you cared about their business, and the experience you delivered. it was about brand.

From there Erik joined MX Logic to help sales teams grow revenue through brand and experience, then joined Pax8 as one of the first 5 people to help establish brand, positioning, and GtM. He was later recruited back to Pax8 to help build pax8Studios, their media arm that pushed Pax8 into this new world.

Along the way Erik has worked with dozens of MSPs and hundreds of humans in the channel to help build a brands that create a movement, get sought out, asked into the room, on stage, and recruited.

Unable to scale himself to the number of requests, and realizing brand building is more fun as a group, Erik launched Vosa to address a major void in the channel.
